There are numerous passive teaching aids available - textbooks, videos, dry skulls, training models and virtual simulators. Each is a valuable tool, but none offer the real life experience of holding and manipulating the actual syringe-needle assembly while practicing on actual patients.
"Necessity is the Mother of Invention"
SIMPLE - SAFE - EFFECTIVE
The Safe-D-Needle was born out of frustration! Experience shows, and the literature supports, novice students experience significant anxiety during local anesthesia training. In addition, instructors are often frustrated by the difficulty communicating with students in such a stressed state. Our goal was to find a solution to this universal problem.
The Safe-D-Needle was created in response to the above.
The Safe-D-Needle is patent pending.
